Section 1. Name

The Board of School Directors shall be known officially as the Board of School
Directors of Easton Area School District, hereinafter sometimes referred to as the
"Board".
Section 2. Composition
Easton Area School District is comprised of all lands that lie within the municipal
boundaries of Easton City, Forks Township, and portions of Lower Mt. Bethel
Township, Palmer Township, and Williams Township in Northampton County, and
portions of Riegelsville Borough in Bucks County.
Section 3. Purpose

Easton Area School District is organized for the purpose of providing a program of
public education to serve the needs of the students of the Commonwealth.
Section 4. Intermediate Unit

Easton Area School District is assigned to Colonial Intermediate Unit No. 20.

Easton Area School District is classified as a school district of the 2nd class.
Section 6. Address
The official address of the Board of School Directors of Easton Area
School District shall be 811 Northampton St., Easton, PA 18042-4298.
